Realtime

The Realtime report shows how users are interacting with your site right now.
It is useful for monitoring site activity and checking immediate reactions after updates or campaigns.

Realtime Overview

The current site status is displayed using two metrics.

Active users

Last 30 Min

Shows the total number of users who landed on a page or moved to another page within the last 30 minutes.

A session is considered completed when no page activity occurs for 30 minutes. Completed sessions are excluded from this count.

Last 1 Min

Shows the total number of users who landed on a page or moved to another page within the last minute.

For example, if a visitor leaves the page open but switches to another tab or remains inactive for more than one minute, they are no longer counted.

This metric represents users who are actively viewing your site right now.

Device Breakdown

Displays the distribution of active users by device type (Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile).

Regions TOP 5

Displays the top five countries with active visitors in real time.

Referrers TOP 5

Displays the top five traffic sources for active users.

direct represents direct access. Search engines, social media platforms, and referring domains may also appear.

Session Recording (Video Playback)

A list of recent user sessions is displayed (up to 5,000 sessions).

Only the most recent 5,000 sessions are available in Realtime.
To view older sessions, use the Audience report, where you can select a specific period.

Use cases

  • Check recent behavior
Review sessions immediately after users leave the site. You can quickly see which pages they viewed and where they encountered issues.

  • Monitor changes and campaigns
After updating content or launching a campaign, use real user behavior data to verify whether users are interacting as expected.
