License Activation

This guide explains how to activate your QA ZERO premium license to unlock all premium features.

Obtaining a License Key

Before you can activate QA ZERO premium, you need to purchase a license:

  1. Visit the QA ZERO website
  2. Select your preferred license tier
  3. Complete the checkout process
  4. You will receive your license key via email
  5. The license key will also be available in your account dashboard

Activating Your License

Standard Activation

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard
  2. Navigate to QA ZERO > License
  3. Enter your license key in the provided field
  4. Enter your email address in the provided field
  5. Click Activate the license
  6. If successful, you'll see a confirmation message and a celebration animation

Troubleshooting Activation

If you encounter issues during activation:

  1. Verify that you've entered the license key correctly (no extra spaces)
  2. Check your internet connection
  3. Ensure your server can make outbound connections
  4. Temporarily disable security plugins or firewalls that might block the activation request

Verifying Activation

After activation, you can verify that your license is working correctly:

  1. Navigate to QA ZERO > Dashboard
  2. Check that premium features are now available
  3. Try accessing a premium feature like session recording

License Information

Once activated, you can view your license information:

  1. Navigate to QA ZERO > License
  2. View your license details:
    • Last authentication time
    • Activation status

Deactivating Your License

If you need to move your license to another site:

  1. Navigate to QA ZERO > License
  2. Click Deactivate this license
  3. Confirm the deactivation
  4. Your license can now be activated on another site

Common Activation Issues

"Invalid License Key" Error

This error occurs when:

  • The license key is entered incorrectly
  • The license has expired
  • The license has been revoked

Solution: Verify your license key and status in your QA ZERO account.

"License Activation Limit Reached" Error

This error occurs when:

  • You've activated the license on the maximum number of sites allowed by your license tier
  • You're trying to activate a license on too many sites

Solution: Deactivate the license on an unused site.

"Connection Error" During Activation

This error occurs when:

  • Your server cannot connect to the QA ZERO license server
  • A firewall is blocking the connection
  • Your hosting has restrictions on outbound connections

Solution: Contact your hosting provider to ensure outbound connections are allowed.

    • Your license key (last 4 characters only for security)
    • WordPress version
    • QA ZERO plugin version
    • Error messages you're receiving
