Article Data Analysis
QA ZERO provides detailed analytics for individual articles and pages on your WordPress site. This section explains how to access and interpret this data to optimize your content.
Accessing Article Data
There are two ways to access article-specific data in QA ZERO:
Method 1: From the Dashboard
- Navigate to QA ZERO > Dashboard
- Scroll down to the Popular Pages section
- Click on any article title to view its detailed analytics
Method 2: From the Content Analytics Section
- Navigate to QA ZERO > Analytics > Content
- Browse or search for the article you want to analyze
- Click on the article title to view detailed analytics
Article Overview Dashboard
The Article Overview Dashboard provides a comprehensive view of how users interact with a specific article.
Key metrics include:
- Page Views: Total number of times the article has been viewed
- Unique Visitors: Number of individual users who viewed the article
- Average Time on Page: How long users typically spend reading the article
- Bounce Rate: Percentage of visitors who leave after viewing only this page
- Scroll Depth: How far down the page users typically scroll
- Engagement Rate: Combined metric of time on page and user interactions
Reading Patterns
The Reading Patterns section shows how users consume your content.
Key insights include:
- Reading Flow: Visual representation of how users read your content
- Attention Hotspots: Areas that receive the most attention
- Skimming Behavior: Sections that users tend to skim rather than read thoroughly
- Drop-off Points: Locations where users typically stop reading
Click Analysis
The Click Analysis section shows where users click within your article.
Key features include:
- Click Heatmap: Visual representation of clicks throughout the article
- Link Performance: Statistics for each link in the article
- CTA Performance: How well call-to-action buttons perform
- Non-link Clicks: Areas where users click that aren't links (potential confusion points)
Traffic Sources
The Traffic Sources section shows how users are finding your article.
Sources are categorized as:
- Direct: Users who typed the URL or used a bookmark
- Search: Traffic from search engines
- Social: Visitors from social media platforms
- Referral: Traffic from other websites
- Internal: Users who navigated from another page on your site
- Email: Visitors who clicked a link in an email
User Flow
The User Flow section shows where users come from before viewing the article and where they go afterward.
This helps you understand:
- Entry Pages: Which pages users visit before arriving at this article
- Exit Pages: Where users go after reading this article
- Navigation Patterns: Common paths users take through your content
Conversion Impact
The Conversion Impact section shows how this article contributes to your conversion goals.
Key metrics include:
- Goal Completions: Number of conversions influenced by this article
- Conversion Rate: Percentage of article viewers who complete a goal
- Value Contribution: Estimated value generated by this article
Exporting Article Data
To export data for reporting or further analysis:
- Navigate to the article analytics page
- Click the Export button in the top right corner
- Select your preferred format (PDF, CSV, Excel)
- Choose which data sections to include
- Click Download
Using Article Data for Optimization
Use article data to:
- Identify and fix sections with high drop-off rates
- Optimize underperforming calls-to-action
